The 30-hour drivers education class is available with a live instructor at all DriveSafe locations.

Important to note:

Thank you for your interest in DriveSafe's Online drivers education programs.

One unique feature is that if your student begins the online course and then decides they would prefer a live class, we can transfer them at no cost. If this occurs, State rules require that the student start the live class from the beginning.

Once your student completes the online course, please call us at 303-721-8881 to schedule a time to come in and take the written permit test.

Available Class Options

The 4-hour Expanded Driver Awareness Program (EDAP) is an abbreviated driver's education class available to students 15 1/2 and older, which will qualify eligible students to receive their permits. This class is offered as an in-center class and in a Zoom format with a live instructor.

Information to help you prepare

The drivers license test is a standardized road test that takes about 30 minutes from start to finish. Following the exam, the tester will provide feedback and then tell you whether you passed. Even experienced drivers sometimes fail, particularly if they have not stayed current on Colorado rules and regulations.

1. Take your written permit test (you can schedule this at any DriveSafe center).
2. Go to the DMV to have your permit issued.
3. Take some driving lessons to build your driving skills and prepare for the license test.
4. Take your License Test with DriveSafe.

Drive Safety Evaluation

Thank you for your interest in DriveSafe for your drivers education needs. The Safety Evaluation is a valuable tool for determining whether an adult or senior driver is capable of driving safely. It includes the following:



1. Pre-drive questionnaire.
2. 45-minute evaluation drive.
3. Take some driving lessons to build your driving skills and prepare for the license test.
4. Written assessment
