Do I Have to Drive With an Instructor in Denver, CO?
Colorado requires teens of a certain age to drive with an instructor in order to be eligible to take a drivers license test.
If you are under the age of 16 ½ you will need to complete 6 Hours of Behind-the-Wheel driver training with a state-certified driving instructor in order to be eligible to take your driver’s license test. If you are older than 16 ½, there is no state behind-the-wheel training requirement with a driving school instructor before taking your drivers test.

Our online driver education programs bring DriveSafe Driving Schools’ expertise plus the convenience and flexibility of online learning.
Fulfill Colorado’s requirements for 30 hours of drivers ed classes in a self-paced, web-based learning platform. We use e-learning best practices to help ensure students are engaged with the content and learn the rules of the road and defensive driving techniques. Expanded Drivers Awareness Program
